Product description:

Log washer also called as spiral washer which is widely used in washing off silt and stains from manganese ore, iron ore and other low-grade mineral. Also it suitable for scrubbing material which contains tough insoluble clays, conglomerates or soft stone.

This machine drive the spiral stirring shaft depends on speed reducer and rotate in different directions, and the minerals which enter the tank were washed by water and stir strongly by blade. The sewage was overflowed at the end of tank, the cleaned minerals were lifted up along the blade and discharged at the beginning of tank.

Working principle:

Tilted installation forms a sedimentation tank at the machine end. Screw head enters into tank. Screw be driven by motor and reducer and cleaning water enters into sedimentation tank from the bottom. Thus it completes the three functions of washing, dewatering, classifying.

Washing: Sand enters into tank and grinds under the rotating screw effect. The impurities covered on the sand be removed and sand moisture layer be damaged for easy dewatering. The cleaning water injected from machine bottom forms a flow and it sends the fine particles and impurities to the surface, then finally be overflowed from weir.

Dewatering: Heavy sand sinks into tank bottom and in the side of curved plate. Screw pushes sand up and forward. The excess water be removed. The removed water flows into tank through gutter from other side, while the dewatered sand be discharged from the tank top.

Classifying: The classification function is accomplished by overflowing fine particles. We can control it by adjusting weir height and screw speed
